These are merely three of the latest stories of police crime in our vast Policewatch.org archives of thousands of such stories over the years.
- Chino, CA, January 2006, cop shoots point blank, nearly fatal rounds at innocent, unarmed man after ordering him up off ground. Then kicked him in the head, handcuffed him, and dragged him like an animal to his cop cruiser.
- January 2006 Fourteen year old is murdered by Florida juvenile delinquent "boot camp" guards after they kick, punch, knee, strangle, and otherwise toture the child.
- November 2005, Sixty-four year old teetotaler beaten savagely by New Orleans police, then charged with drinking in public and intimidating peace officers.
- Remember: most police abuse is anonymous and goes unreported by the media.

So, you trust the police, 100% do you?
They have the means to put you in prison when they lie. Have the means to assault not only your physical body, but your dignity, your worth as a human being, the very essence of who you are.
If you have not already been a victim, how about having some deep concern for your fellow man and woman. Join with us and demand POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY!! What we advocate as the first, and most important line of defense is this: electronic audio and/or video devices worn on police officers capturing all suspect/police interaction. Secondly, there must be a computerized tracking system of all police performance/discipline records. And lastly, state law must allow the public full access to these records (which is now completely blocked in California and elsewhere). Who could argue with this kind of objectivity? In the 2 years we have been doing this work---no one, except the law-enforcement community itself. This should speak volumes to you about the state of affairs concerning this layer of our society.
Take a look around, vote on the polls, rate some of the articles, submit an article, and/or download a file. Please register at your ealiest convenience, so that you can post articles on this crucial topic. All submissions and other forms of support are appreciated.
As well, we are looking for administrators to this site, who know or aspire to know about websites, and have a great passion for civil and human rights.

In the near future, I will be speaking at Oceanside's special police commission meeting concerning a "Police Oversight Board" possibly being created. A Police Oversight Board is a start. But no where near what is needed to ensure a police force that is honest, forthcoming, professional and limits itself to "serving and protecting" and not self-accepting of unneeded force (physical, mental), harassment of all strife, etc. Our precious civil and human rights---guarded against tyrannical mind-states of government enforcement officials---require no nonsense measures.
